Hajiya Amina Abdullahi (nee Saidu Labo) a BSc. graduate of Architecture from Ahmadu Bello University in 1979, post-graduate Diploma in Architectural Management from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom in 1985.
Hajiya Abdullahi obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Economic & Marketing of Petroleum Products from College of Petroleum & Energy, Oxford United Kingdom in 1983.
Her work experience started with Kaduna State Housing Authority 1979-1981 as Architect 1. She worked as a Senior Architect from 1981-1987 with Kaduna State Urban Development Board. She rose to the position of Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Lands & Survey, Katsina State before transferring her services to Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 1993.
Hajiya Amina Abdullahi rose to the pinnacles of her career with NNPC from 2007 to 2009 where she became the Group General Manager at the Investment Division and subsequently the Managing Director of NNPC Property Limited from 2009 until her retirement in 2014.
Hajiya Abdullahi speaks three languages and has very extensive travel diaries. She loves reading, Charity work and travelling.
She is a widow blessed with children and grandchildren
Chief Thomas Kimashinor Nwakalo-Imu has spent most of his working career in the Oil and Gas sector. Graduating as a Sociologist from the University of Ibadan, he was immediately employed by a multinational oil company. He obtained his Master’s degree from the same university specialising in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management and recently in May 2017 obtained his L.L.M. from the University of Lagos.
His meritorious rise in the multinational has taken him into the core of the company and he works directly with the Chief Executive Officer. Armed with both Sociology and Law Degrees, he now heads a very sensitive department of the organisation. Various courses in areas like Petroleum Management, International Procurement and Energy Development in Emerging markets have also evolved this sociologist into an Oil & Gas-Man.
Chief Nwakalo-Imu has earned his place on the board of the company and will be an important asset to the project. His networking skills, persuasive abilities and ownership approach to work are tools that contribute to his success at high levels of Corporate Management.
He is married with children and enjoys a good game of tennis or delving into books.
Otunba Henry Oladele Ajomale, Lawyer, Diplomat, Administrator, former Special Adviser, Political and Legislature Bureau, former Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Relations Lagos State and Lagos State Chairman of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), was born on October, 1944 in Lagos.
He joined the Federal Civil Service, and worked in various capacities, mostly in the diplomatic service. He was at various times, Nigeria’s representative to missions in Japan, United States, Moscow, Switzerland etc., and led many trade delegations to various countries on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
He was appointed in April 2001 as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political and Legislative matters. His grasp of political manoeuvring in Lagos State and Nigeria culminated in his appointment as the Chairman Campaign Committee for the re-election of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2003. Subsequently, his appointment as a Commissioner in the Tinubu administration is a manifestation of his political savvy and commitment.
He was elected as the Chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Lagos State in December, 2006 where he led the campaign for the election of the former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) in 2007. Otunba Ajomale was re-elected as the Chairman of his political party All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2014 in Lagos State.
He is married with grown up children.
Justice Hunponu-Wusu (rtd) obtained his LL.B (Hons) from the University of Lagos in 1972 and B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos (1973).
He has had varied legal and judicial experience over the past 38 years of which 17 years were spent as a judge of the high court (Lagos State Judiciary). He retired to set up a family private practice and consultancy firm.
Justice Hunponu-Wusu is married with children and grandchildren.
The Late Engr. Taofiq Ajibade Tijani was an astute administrator and an accomplished Petroleum Engineer.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California in September 1978 and Post-Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Reservoir Management at the Texaco Engineering Technical School, Bellaire, Texas in June 1986.
Engr. Tijani joined the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) as a Research Engineer, Petroleum Engineering Unit and rose to the position of Chief Petroleum Engineer at NNPC NAPIMS and thereafter promoted as Manager in charge of upstream gas supply to LNG Projects. Engr. Tijani’s final position was an appointment as Senior Technical Assistant (STA) in charge of all gas development and utilization matters to the Hon. Minister of Petroleum Resources where he retired statutorily in January 2011 from NNPC after 30 years of meritorious service in Oil and Gas Industry.
In July 2011 Engr. Tijani was appointed by His Excellency, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) the former Governor of Lagos State to the pioneering role as Honourable Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources at the new Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. During this period, the Lagos State Government developed four Independent Captive Power Plants and successfully promoted public awareness for LPG (cooking gas) among several other notable achievements.
Engr. Tijani was married with grown-up children.
