On the approval of Licence To Establish (LTE) 20,000 bpsd, the Board of Directors of Midoil R&PCL approved the setting up of a committee of professionals in various fields for the necessary Planning & Implementation to commissioning of the Proposed 100,000 bpsd Refinery.
The Committee has the mandate for the full implementation of the proposed Refinery and the Commissioning at the expected date of year 2024.
They will award contracts for Concept Studies, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) & Detailed Engineering Design (DED) for the proposed 100,000 bpsd Refinery which forms part of the requirement for the issuance of Approval To Construct (ATC) Licence.
The MPIC membership comprises a Town Planner, a Professor of Chemical Engineering, Crude Oil Expert, Civil Engineer, Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) Experts, Financial Analyst, Architect, Mechanical Engineer, Instrumentation/Electrical Engineer, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager and Legal Expert.
The Committee is chaired by the Executive Chairman of Midoil R&PCL and one other Director as members.
